Why I Whole30

Before I started my very first round of Whole30, I made a list about what had brought me to the "drastic" decision to throw away everything in my kitchen that wasn't Whole30 compliant and jump feet first into this challenge.

I was fed up, knew something needed to change, and I knew I needed a constant reminder of why I was doing it, so I made a list and hung it on the refrigerator. The list hung there through my first Whole30, reminding me to keep pushing, that it would be worth it! I then added a list of "Whole30 NSVs" (non-scale victories) that I was experiencing! This list helped keep me motivated to keep pushing through!

These lists helped me so much that I thought I would share with you all what was on them!

Why Do I Want To Do Whole30

> Binge eating more and more and it's out of control
> My bra hurts to wear and I refuse to buy a larger size
> DRY scalp!
> It hurts when I poop.
> Taking tums every single night before bed
> I'm getting winded walking up and down the stairs
> I find I'm abusing and am addicted to Energize (pre-workout)
> I need a nap daily
> I'm feeling depression creep back in & I'm in a sad funk
> My joints are swelling
> I'm waking up stiff and in pain
> I have zero energy throughout the day
> We're in a food rut & always ordering takeout
> I get angry so quickly and over the dumbest stuff! (You can read about an example of this on my emotional suability post!)
